GPT Image 2.6 GIF guide

A GPT Image 2.6 GIF is text-to-image only. Do not send reference images, a mask, or markup. Frame count is 2–16 and defaults to 9. Frame duration defaults to 200ms, must be at least 20ms, and steps by 10ms.

Size is auto (512×512) or exact pixels in multiples of 16, such as 512x512. Aspect-ratio names are not accepted for GIF. The provider bills the whole frame sheet, and this site charges 1 credit per frame.

If the provider rejects the job because GPT Image 2.6 is not live, the error is shown and the credits are refunded once. The generator does not retry that request.
